Note: the report is only available in Dutch, but we will publish a blogpost in English this Thursday with all of the highlights in bullet points.
The FLEGA Report 2016 provides an overview of the state of affairs in our industry, the challenges it faces, its impact on our economy and some global trends and insights. The different figures and tables are based on scientific studies, accredited domestic and foreign research organisations and official statistics. FLEGA als conducted a survey in the Belgian games industry. Some of the figures don’t just reflect the games industry in Flanders, but in the whole of Belgium. Some figures can be attributed to Flanders specifically however and therefore offer valuable insights into Flemish game development.
The report consists of the following chapters: an overview of the Flemish/Belgian gamer and Flemish/Belgian games industry, supporting measures for the Flemish games industry, the economic impact of our sector and the specific needs of the industry to grow and compete in the world, global trends and insights and a final conclusion.
Thanks to the much appreciated support of the Flemish Ministry of Media, you can download and read our FLEGA Report 2016 for free.
