So you’ve finally decided to make the trip to Cologne this year. You’re very confident about your project. You’re going to knock this one out of the park. Except, it’s your first time at a big trade fair and you have no idea what to expect. Don’t worry: on June 14 Flanders DC, Startups.be and FLEGA will host a gaming lab in Brussels on how to prepare for a big international gaming trade fair.
We’ll focus on how to get the most out of your gamescom experience. We’ll look back at the thoughts of game studios on the first Belgian shared booth last year and talk about our ambitious plans for this year. You’ll also get a testimonial by a developer that already attended the fair.
But we’ll also look at other international trade fairs and give an insight in subsidies that can help you attend these events. We’ll also talk about the practical side of things with useful tips and tricks on how to network, deal with press and follow up on new business contacts after the show has ended. Don’t miss our interactive workshop to learn how to pitch your project.
Last but not least we’ll wrap up the event with a #FLEGACafe where we’ll present the latest FLEGA report. Discover how our local industry holds up, what challenges we still face and what economic impact we represent in turnover and workforce, all while enjoying a fresh beer.
