In September you’ll have an opportunity to improve Belgian healthcare and create your own startup while you’re at it.
If you’re a game developer who wants to make a difference to people’s lives through the innovative use of technology, then Hack-for-Health is for you. Pitch your own idea or help tackle one of the real-world challenges that Belgian healthcare organisations have contributed to (prove you can solve it, and you’ll have your first client!).
Projects will focus around web and mobile technologies designed to help keep patients out of the hospitals, and will likely be in these areas:
- Long-term disease management
- Elderly care
- Remote diagnostics
- Prevention

Hack-for-Health is organised by Microsoft Innovation Center Vlaanderen and powered by HealthStartup Europe. The event will take place 20-22 September 2013 in Genk at the C-Mine Crib.
