One of the longest running Dutch gaming events, INDIGO is celebrating its tenth anniversary this year. Redubbed INDIGOx, the event will offer more than a selection of great international indie games.
In collaboration with MeetToMatch, xCONNECT (9.00 – 18.00) gives game companies the unique opportunity to meet with publishers, service providers, and other game companies. This is a great chance to catch representatives of companies like Nintendo, Epic Games and Oculus at a less crowded event.
In between setting up future business deals you’ll also be able to follow six 30 minute talks on a variety of subjects. xTALKS (9.30-12.30) is all about listening to industry experts, prominent game companies and entrepreneurs that are keen to share their experience with the audience.
At xDISCOVER (12.00 – 20.00) the organisation at Dutch Game Garden has put together another wonderful line-up of promising indie games, and we’re happy to see three familiar faces in the selection.
30 Birds by Brussels based Ram Ram Games turned a lot of heads with its first public showing at BIG Brotaru earlier this year. Check it out if you like intriguing adventure games with a truly unique art style
When it’s all getting a bit too much and you need a little time-out, we’d recommend strapping on Cubism VR by Thomas Van Bouwel. Solving minimalist block puzzles in VR with soothing music in the background is an ideal way to recenter your zen.
Recharged your energy and ready to blow shit up? Then it’s time for Hoverloop! Thanks to some meticulous timing by the team at Cronos Interactive, you’ll be able to chase your opponents in a brand new update that has been released just this week. Pew pew indeed!
Will any of these go home with this year’s INDIGO award? You’ll have to find out for youself at INDIGOx, taking place on June 28 at Speys Jaarbeurs in Utrecht. Tickets are still available and we hope to see you there.
