Together with AppLift, Newzoo has made an extensive infographic about the mobile games market. They estimate that the total revenue for mobile games will double by 2017. That means they’ll reach a total of approximately $35.4 billion in only 3 years.

The leading area for mobile games is the Asian Pacific with over $12.2 billion, followed by North America ($ 4.9 billion) and Western Europe ($ 3.2 billion).

Of course not every region is growing as fast as the next, nor is the player-payer ratio the same everywhere. The year on year growth is the biggest in Latin America with a vast 60%, whereas in Asia Pacific the growth is only 21%.
