Pun intended.
Unsurprisingly, Epic Games is one of the main partners of the latest White Nights Dev Contest for Unreal Engine developers. This competition is open to all European developers who are currently working on a video game developed in Unreal Engine 4. Next to Epic, winners can look forward to a range of different prizes (monetary and otherwise) offered by various industry partners like Xsolla and 1C Entertainment.
Winning is fun, but it’s not just about the prizes though. The goal of the event is to bring together European studios and expose them to a selection of the publishers and invited experts that will pick the winners. At the end of the road there’ll be one winner, but different partners can offer special deals to projects of their own choosing.
You have until 31st January to sign up your game. As a reminder, to be eligible you need to be a European game developer working on a video game in Unreal Engine 4 that’s in a playable state and hasn’t released before 30th November 2020. All boxes ticked? Sign up here!
Apart from the prizes, direct access to partners and publishers, the event will sport a huge awareness and brand recognition campaign through (social) media channels, PR beats, and streaming. Sounds like free discoverability to us, so get in on this!
