The Digital Arts and Entertainment bachelor program at proud FLEGA member HOWEST is one of the best places to prepare for a career in video games. If you want to share your knowledge and guide the next batch of home-grown developers to international success, there’s a couple of open vacancies (link in Dutch).
It’s a tough program that requires a lot of skill, hard work and discipline but the blood, sweat and tears do pay off. Students rank high in renowned international competitions and manage to score interesting internships. In the end, over 50% of students get hold of a job in games or 3D animation.
While the program has alumni in big game studios (Rockstar North, Ubisoft, DICE…) all over the world, over three quarters are active in Belgium. Some graduates, such as Timothy Vanherberghen (Triangle Factory), Stan Loiseaux (Pajama Llama Games) and Brecht Lecluyse (Glowfish Interactive) have successfully (co)-founded their own studio and are actively helping to put the Flemish games industry on the map.
If that’s the kind of talent you want to help broaden their skill set, DAE’s the place for you. You can apply for the jobs until June 29. Good luck!
