It rains on the street so this seems like a great time to highlight some of the recent projects of Bits of Love, an expert in gamedesign and serious games in 2D.
Apart from the excellent pun, the Bruges based digital studio makes your heart skip a beat with their ability to translate complex data into beautiful stories and engaging digital tools. In their own words: the team uses their background in games to create interfaces that convert to happy users.
Some recent examples of that design philosophy include Wandelbingo (link in Dutch), an item spotting game for kids (and older kids) developed during the lockdown to spice up your standard stroll around the neighbourhood. The game was picked up by local press (link in Dutch). Before, they created a similar experience to discover De Zuidrand (link in Dutch) of Antwerp.
Bits of Love have also been working together with serious games expert and FLEGA board member Jill Van Parys. They created the serious game Kr8cht (link in Dutch) to help kids in elementary school pick a field of study when transitioning to high school. They also collaborated on a series of educational games for kids to discover the port of Antwerp (link in Dutch).
That’s but a small taste of the projects whipped up over the past 10 years. With high profile clients ranging from Club Brugge and Mediahuis to Wit-Gele Kruis and UGent, Bits of Love has repeatedly proven their approach and expertise in a lot of different sectors. They are currently on the lookout for lovely people to join the team (link in Dutch). Sounds like you could have a good time.
