21/12/2017Apply now for the Dutch Courage meets Belgian Beers GDC pre-mixer on Sunday March 18th in San Francisco. The concept is simple: someone who plays your game gets a Belgian beer. The first hour press and publishers get premium access and afterwards the doors are thrown open to let in 500 indie game enthusiasts from around the world. It’s by far the best way to kickstart your GDC week, to showcase your indie game and make a name for yourself before the conference’s even started. Spaces are limited. After application deadline, we will contact studios that made the cut.
This awesome pre-mixer, organised together with our neighbours of the Dutch Game Association, Dutch Game Garden and FlandersDC is part of our second Mission San Francisco to get as many Belgian game developers as possible to the Game Developers Conference, taking place from March 19th until March 23rd in San Francisco. You have until January 19 to sign up and take advantage of the following benefits*.
- You get a 10% discount on the early bird ticket of your choice (GDC Expo Plus and GDC Expo passes are not eligibile for this discount). For example, a GDC Conference + Summits pass will cost you $1,484 instead of $1,649. You save $ 165!
- Flanders Investment and Trade offers you a refund for max 50% of your travel and accommodation costs. Please make sure to fill out the necessary paperwork (link in Dutch) in advance.
- There’s also a chance your GDC pass will qualify for an educational grant, resulting in an additional discount of 40%. This is to be confirmed, but we will keep you informed as soon as possible.
- For a small extra fee (€75): showcase your game at Dutch Courage meets Belgian Beers pre-mixer event (as stated above).
If you want to be part of all this, simply fill out this form, which you can also use to apply for the pre-mixer, before January 19th. Signing up for Mission San Francisco will automatically result in an invoice as soon as we reach a delegation size of 10, so make sure you don’t plan any important life events in that week.
