Proud FLEGA member Sevenedge, a creative studio focused on digital innovation, based in Temse (near Sint-Niklaas), is expanding its business into commercial games with Driftwatch VR, a fantasy themed on-rails shooter for the HTC Vive. Sevenedge gathered experience by making advergames for 10 years and VR productions for tourist attractions for about 3 years.
In Driftwatch the player travels on the back of a giant whale or helicopter platform to explore a magical realm infested with evil goblins. Your task is to defeat the enemies by unleashing your skills with magic mastery, the longbow or dual wielding crossbows …
Some of the features you can expect from the game:
• Survive the attacks of the evil goblins. Get the highest score by killing the most enemies!
• On-rails immersive VR experience, no complex locomotion – just point & shoot!
• Get rewards for skillshots, practice your accuracy and finesse to receive bonus points!
• 4 levels with 4 amazing weapons (Longbow, Dual Wielding Crossbows, Magic Staff and Fireballs)
Driftwatch VR is scheduled for release somewhere at the end of 2016. It was recently submitted to Steam Greenlight and it can use your vote.
