Attention all Flemish developers looking for (additional) funding! The next VAF Gamefonds (Dutch only) call for serious, educational and entertainment games is coming up soon, on October 1. You still have 1 month to prepare your application.
We recommend that you download the application presentation (Dutch only) created by the VAF commission members themselves, which includes some very handy do’s and don’ts about applying. Contact VAF Gamefonds directly for more information.
The VAF Gamefonds was created in 2012 to stimulate the development of games by Flemish studios. Several games already enjoyed funding like Runes & Rivets by Monkube and Broken Bots by Bunnycopter, to name but a few.
Applications must be submitted before October 1. On December 8 VAF Gamefonds will announce which games will receive funding.
In related news: today, September 3, VAF launches a new platform (the online portal MyVAF) for new funding applications. You will be able to create your personal account, manage and upload your application directly online. You can find out more about the online application (Dutch only) on VAF’s website.
