Two important public service announcements coming in for those of you who’re planning to attend GDC next year. While you’re too late to sign up for the Belgian booth, there’s still two ways to redeem yourself.

1) Grab your conference pass at 10% discount

Whether you want to go all access or prefer to cherry pick talks from the different thematic summits, you can get a 10% discount* on all conference passes (Expo Plus and Expo are not eligible for this offer). Please sign up here before January 25 and keep in mind that registration is binding and will be invoiced through Flanders DC.

Of note: companies who are exhibiting on the Belgian games booth are able to get a one-time 25% discount on a conference pass of their choice. As mentioned in the registration form, please contact AWEX for more details.

2) Show your game at Courage GDC Edition 2020

Taking place on the eve of GDC on March 15, the Courage showcase has become the hottest premixer south of the Golden Gate Bridge. It’s the best way to warm up for a week’s worth of presenting your game to potential new business partners, which may already be roaming around during the VIP hour.

The event is returning to The Great Northern, where all Belgian games will be able to show what they’re made of. You’ll also get a discount (€ 105 instead of € 175 (excl. costs)) and since our partners know we make damn fine games (and we might pay a bill or two) there’ll be no curation.

For that price you’ll get a reserved showcase spot in one of the hottest GDC venues and drink vouchers to offer to people who played your game. Boost your courage here and please do so before January 15.

As a general reminder: Flanders Investment & Trade can offer you a refund for 50% of your travel and accommodation costs. Please make sure to fill out the necessary paperwork (link in Dutch) IN ADVANCE.
