It seems like only yesterday gamescom took place, yet the next #BelgianGamesCafe is already just around the corner. Hosts screen.brussels cluster, FLEGA, WALGA and IBM are happy to announce that over 100 people will be attending. Registrations for the event are now closed.
Next to some delicious finger food and plenty of beers, there will be a lot of cool demos to check out. Here’s a quick look at what’s on offer:
- Bombslinger: Mode4 has just released another update on Steam Early Access for their Bomberman inspired spaghetti western roguelike. Try to blow up your friends in a frantic 4 player multiplayer battle!
- NAO: IBM is bringing a NAO humanoid robot that’s powered by IBM Watson technology. NAO is already used as a hotel concierge or a bank assistant. Maybe you can train it to demo your game or answer questions you’ve already answered thousands of times. Or you know, you can simply enjoy its great dance moves.
- PanoptesVR: Panoptes is an asynchronous multiplayer VR experience that was conceived in less than 48 hours during the IGjam16 at gamescom. Put on the HTC Vive and find out yourself why Panoptes swept away three awards!
- Revolve: Rusty Bolt’s debut game is back after a long hibernation period, in which the team took on some high profile work for hire. The triggeractive sidescroller, where you have to maneuver through a deadly science fiction world using gravity, never looked better.
