The new year is promising plenty of change for Hoverloop, the multiplayer mayhem simulator that’s being developed by proud FLEGA member Not a Company.
After the news the title was being picked up by Belgian publisher (and one of our key benefactors) Cronos Interactive, the developers fell silent. Yesterday, they emerged from the darkness with the news that major changes will be coming to Hoverloop this year that will improve the game on every level.
Not only is Hoverloop getting coated in a new cyberpunk look, with menus, HUD, levels, item pick-ups and guns now sporting a coherent and gritty neo-noir identity, the team has also made numerous changes to the gameplay. Based on feedback gathered from people playing on Steam Early Access or at game events, these changes are aimed at making Hoverloop feel, look and play better, without losing the local multiplayer action focus that made it succesfully hit its Kickstarter goal back in 2017.
If you’re anxious to try out the new and improved Hoverloop, you’ll have to hold your horses just a while longer. Not a Company will feature a brand new demo at 1UP Conference, taking place February 15-16 in Kortrijk Xpo. There’s also word on a new business model but those details remain under wraps for the time being.
Seems like exciting times at Not a Company, so good luck to all involved!
