It’s a big release week for the #BelgianGamesIndustry. Two members of the FLEGA family are launching their new game on Thursday, but we wanted to make sure each title gets their time in the spotlight. Up first is the latest result of the partnership between NACON and our founding member Neopica: Hunting Simulator 2.
However, it’s not fully open season yet. Hunters who like to shoot their ducks with a controller are in the clear, but hunting sport fans on pc and Nintendo Switch will have to sit tight a little longer. The PS4 and Xbox One versions are releasing on June 25, while the pc version is planned for July 16 and Neopica doesn’t yet have a fixed release date for Nintendo Switch in its sights. A little unorthodox perhaps, but then again, what hasn’t been lately?
But even if you can’t yet go on an animal killing spree yet, this sequel seems to be well worth the wait for hunting sport fans. You can look forward to exploring bigger and more varied breathtaking natural wildernesses in the United States and Europe.
Over thirty new wildlife species are dying to make the acquaintance of your second amendment rights. You’ll be joined by a range of classic hunting dogs, each with their own traits, to help you stalk your prey. They will track down beasts on the run to make it easier for the sharpshooters to nail that kill shot. Just be careful not to mistake the mutt for a hunting target – there’s other games for that.
To further enhance the realism, Hunting Simulator 2 lets you go on a hunting spree armed with one of 75 licensed weapons such as Winchesters and 90 different pieces of clothing from brands like Browning. Selecting the right gear is important and can mean the difference of going home with a big hunting trophy or coming up just short.
In any case, there’s no doubt that hunting enthousiasts will feel right at home when Hunting Simulator 2 launches this week on consoles or later this year on pc and Nintendo Switch. Happy hunting!
