Early stage games companies have until September 4 to submit their application to get a chance to pitch in front of 10 to 12 high level international equity investors with a track record of investing in the video games industry or who have a financial interest in the sector. The contest is open to console, mobile, social, casual, and online games companies with no restriction on genre, platform, or distribution method. Middle-ware, publishing and distribution companies are also eligible. Applicants must be European games companies with an innovative and scalable business model looking for an early stage equity investment to support their further growth.
Successful candidates will be offered free tickets to the Investment Session as well as one-to-one meetings with invited international investors on October 30. Candidates will also receive privileged access to Game Connection Europe and use of the meeting application system which enables them to organise meetings with potential partners well in advance of the event. They will also get access to a meeting stand so that they can meet potential partners in comfort.
