We would like to invite all of our readers to Meet & Build, a networking event that will take place in Charleroi on Saturday, November 14. The event has been especially created for people from all over Belgium who are working, or have the ambition to work, in our local games industry.
The event will include lectures from different important actors of the industry (associations, developers, publishers, investors, …) like WALGA, FLEGA, the Brussels gaming community, Wallimage, Sileni Studios, Larian Studios, Abrakam, Joëlle Milquet (Belgian Minister of Education, Culture and Youth Affairs + vice president of the Wallon-Brussels Federation; link in French only), Nintendo Europe and others. Students from HE Albert Jacquard (Namur) and ESA Saint-Luc (Brussels) will also be present to meet and greet with you, the game developers.
The event is completely free, but you need to book your place in advance (the password is ‘agony’). The Meet & Build event will take place during the day.
In the evening you are welcome to attend the Cloture Du Festivals Des Arts Numériques, a networking event with performances and a party. Free drinks and food will be provided for all attendees. We hope to see you there!
