Playing around with VR or working on your own VR projects? Then you should absolutely consider going to Webdox 2016 (held on May 3 in Leuven). They are dedicating this fifth edition of the conference entirely to the emerging technology.
Tickets cost €35 for students and €75* for everyone else. 10h-13h: Reem Haddad (Senior Producer Al Jazeera TV and creator of ‘Life on Hold’), Topaz Adizes (Creative Director ‘The Skin Deep’ and creator of ‘the { }’) and Karim Ben Khalifa (war photographer and creator of the VR-project ‘The Enemy’) talk about where they got the inspiration for their projects, share some lessons learned and describe their experience with funding interactive storytelling projects.
13h-14h30: Lunch
14h30-16h30: The afternoon is dedicated to uncovering new financing opportunities in the field of interactive storytelling. There will be a panel of speakers, led by Domenico La Porta (Head of Wallimage Creative Fund). Other panel members include Lucie Rezsöhazy (RTBF Interactive, coordinator Webcréation), Virve Indrén (Head of EACEA Development Creative Europe Media) and Thibaut Claes (Innovation Manager at startups.be).
