The Mayan Death Robots are about to make their comeback and the battles will be more intense than ever. Mayan Death Robots: Arena, out on May 19 for Xbox One, includes a lot of tweaks and updates to the original game and, most importantly, will feature online multiplayer for the first time. Check out the trailer and witness the mayhem!
For those who missed the game the first time around: Mayan Death Robots, created by proud FLEGA member Sileni Studios puts a cool twist on the classic artillery genre (think Worms) by letting players take their turns at the same time. Controlling a giant robot, hailed by the Mayans as awesome deities, your goal is to destroy the power core of your opponent. To shake up the strategy, players are able to reshape the level by building Tetris-like blocks. Create a new vantage point or raise a barricade to protect yourself, but do it fast: when the rockets start flying, you already need to plan your next move!
The game features both an engaging singleplayer campaign, where you learn the ropes fighting a cunning AI, as well as local and online multiplayer. Mayan Death Robots: Arena will be out on Xbox One on May 19 and run you € 6,99.
