The European Commission has published a new call for Supporting Video Games to promote the development of narrative storytelling video game projects intended for commercial exploitation on the European and international market.
This call is open to all European independent video game companies that have been registered at least one year and have a track record i.e. a previously produced video game that was commercially distributed after January 1, 2013. The digital content has to be largely interactive and must have a substantial narrative component.
The first playable version of the project may not be completed within 8 months of the submission. The contribution / co-financing will be € 10 – 50k for concept development (supporting activities) and € 10 – 150k for project development (producing a playable prototype).
