15/05/2014Happy Volcano, a new Leuven based game developer takes the field and presents its very first game: Lava Fever. This young start-up company emerged just like a natural volcano and erupted with a powerful burst of energy and hope, spewing creativity all over the place. Their very first title for iOS matches the company’s name perfectly and is even staged inside a volcano.
The concept of the game Lava Fever is an exact opposite of what your usual target would be. Your goal is to sacrifice your soul to the lava gods of your local volcano at the centre of the mountain. As you jump into the crater you will have to avoid falling debris, dodge fireballs, sneak past poisonous clouds and so much more nerve wrecking obstacles, which you need to survive before you can eventually, odd as it may seem, die for the sake of your people. When you succeed, you can finally be the hero you were always destined to be. A dead hero, but a hero nonetheless.
You can already feel the heat emitting from this game and this creative team. We have no doubt that you can expect great things from Happy Volcano as they take you along for epic, mind-boggling adventures!
