It’s kind of hard to believe, but Playtime 20.20 was the last physical video game event to take place before the pandemic shut everything down for so long. Now that events are slowly getting back on track, you can apply for free to become part of the Playtime 20.22 (link in Dutch) indie selection.
Not only does the city of Bruges offer you a free platform to playtest your video game, you also get a chance to showcase it in a truly stunning venue. Taking place from March 11th until March 13th, the event will transform the 19th century Municipal Theater in the heart of a Bruges in a bonafide video game paradise.
Welcoming visitors of all ages and levels of video game literacy, everyone is invited to learn more about the rich history of video games. Marrying cultural grandeur with digital bravery, the free event has always been about highlighting the best video games have to offer.
If you feel like your project should be part of that celebration, you’ll need to get in touch with the organisers before November 30th. Make sure your email contains all the necessary contact information (company name, contact name, adress, phone number, website) and quickly introduce your game in 3-4 sentences.
Good luck and we hope to see you there.
