25/04/2023Exciting news! Our valued partner Flanders Investment and Trade (FIT) has teamed up with FLEGA to organise an economic mission to Australia led by Her Royal Majesty Princess Astrid and Minister-President of Flanders Jan Jambon.
It’s a two leg trip with stops in Sydney (October 22-25) and Melbourne (October 25-27). These cities have strong ties to video game development so this is an excellent opportunity to get in touch with local companies, potential clients and/or partners. You’ll also be able to mingle with other local sectors that will travel along in this mission (such as education tech, health tech, sports tech,…). There is no obligation to follow the entire mission; you can subscribe for the cities that interest you. Furthermore, FIT will support you in setting up the contacts you are looking for and is there to answer any questions you may have. In preparation, FIT has developed a market study to help you get acquainted with the Australian ecosystem and opportunities.
On top of all that, there’s something special to this mission. On October 24th, there will be a showcase event for game companies from Flanders. As FIT is here to support our sector in attracting investments, this event will be an excellent way to get in touch with local partners or investors.
This is the second time a video game centered program is included during a FIT princely mission and the first time there will be a dedicated invest event for our sector. As both local and Australian press will follow the high profile visit, this is also an ideal PR opportunity to get your company in the spotlights at home and abroad. If this all checks out for you, you have until May 31st to sign up for (part of) this mission.
