In November 2013 KBC Bank introduced Start it @kbc, an early stage incubator with a mission to support and promote early entrepreneurship in Belgium. It has been discovering innovative startups with a scalable idea ever since and helping them with free office space and expert advice.
KBC already has permanent places in Antwerp, Ghent, Hasselt & Leuven and on September 15 it will open up the doors of a brand new incubator workplace at Wetenschapsstraat 23, in the heart of Brussels. This occasion will also herald the start of the first session of Start it @kbc pitches in Brussels, when start-ups active in Hi-Tech, Fin-Tech, sales, design, entertainment (including games!) etc. will be able to present their innovative ideas to a professional jury. Proud FLEGA member CatLab Interactive and indie game developer WeeTaps were already selected for different cities.
