The annual FACTS convention at Flanders Expo, Ghent drew a little under 50,000 visitors this past weekend. That’s about 20% more than last year. “People no longer consider a convention like ours weird or only for nerds”, says organizer Anthony Audenaerd. Top of the bill at this year’s edition was actor Christopher Lloyd, best known for his role as Dr. Emmett Brown (or ‘Doc’) in the iconic Back to the Future trilogy. Lloyd was available both days of the convention for pictures and autographs.
As announced prior to the convention, several Flemish developers (Catlab, Rusty Bolt, Bunnycopter and Crazy Monkey Studios) and Howest University College were also on hand to show off their goods at a booth powered by FLEGA. We would like to thank everybody who took the time to drop by. Please enjoy the pictures below!
