22/08/2014The app game specialist Wee Taps focusses on games for children between 2 and 5 years old. Their most popular titles are Wee Rockets and Wee Subs which were also featured on the Apple Kids App Store when this new platform launched in 2013.
With Wee Rockets a child can build his own rocket and launch it into outer space. He can then explore the corners of the galaxy as he races through asteroid fields, rescues friendly aliens and ventures into the unknown.
Wee Subs is somewhat the same game as the space version, only this time the setting is under the ocean. The marvellous world of deep sea life is still fascinating to men and women around the globe. Here the child has to complete missions in which he collects fish and treasures with his submarine while avoiding old mines and nuclear waste. Wee Subs is a simple and fun game with an educational twist.
Besides that Wee Taps also has a newer app-game called Learny. This game was commissioned by Sanoma and helps toddlers learn about the alphabet, shapes, colours and more. The child can select an in game friend and teacher from a list of friendly animals. This avatar will journey along with the player throughout the game. Parents can easily track the child’s learning progress with the built-in dashboard.
