Yesterday, we wrapped up another succesful edition of GDC. We’re about to drag our worn-out bodies, equally limp from absorbing knowledge and inspired by meeting so many amazing game creators, to the plane back home. But before we go, we have one last public service announcement.
This year we were proud to present the first ever Flemish booth at GDC. It was nice for our Belgian developers to showcase what they were all about, and to have their own meeting room on the expo floor. There’s always room for improvement of course, and that’s why we won’t be doing this again.
Next year, thanks to FIT and AWEX, we’ll unite the #BelgianGamesIndustry family in one big booth. To be able to make a splash internationally, it’s important to present ourselves as a national front. We’ve seen it work wonders at gamescom and we’re sure it will work here as well.
As we look out of the window and gradually see the hustle and bustle of San Francisco turn into a peaceful blip, we’d like to thank everyone who was here and made it possible one last time.
Thank you Flanders Investment & Trade, Flanders DC, VAF/Gamefonds, Digital Wallonia, Cronos Interactive and all developers who helped to make this another invaluable week for #BelgianGamesIndustry.
