If your memory of last year’s event wasn’t completely wiped out by the party that followed, you may see some repeat contenders in that last category, but that’s game development for you. There were so many great entries as well, that a tied score resulted in five games being nominated. These awards will be joined by the Audience Award, chosen by popular vote and hosted by Game Mania. Last but not least, the very first Belgian Lifetime Achievement Award will reward a personality for his/her remarkable contribution to Belgian games.
It’s going to be one hell of a show and while we can’t yet spill the details on guests and show hosts (we hear they’re pretty crazy), it will be bigger and better than last year. If you want to cheer your favourite game to victory or provide emotional support for nominated friends – tickets are this way.
Congratulations to all the nominees and thanks to all the wonderful games and developers that submitted. This celebration of #BelgianGamesIndustry success wouldn’t be possible without the valued support of WALGA, ScreenBrussels, VAF/GAME, Flanders DC, and Cronos Interactive.
