In an interview given to the streetwear clothing website vcclothing.com (one of the many sponsors of the rollerblading game On a Roll), creator Jelle Van den Audenaeren answered a wide range of questions about the ongoing development. Jelle has joined forces with a talented programmer and a team of freelancers to make the best game possible.
Since the successful Kickstarter campaign in December 2015 the team has been hard at work with motion capture sessions and 3D scans of pro skaters (you can find the full list of skaters in the interview). Meanwhile they also developed new environments, did a lot of programming work and made loads of behind-the-scenes improvements.
The game will reach Alpha Stage by the end of April. The release date was originally scheduled for September 2016, but will be postponed by a couple of months because the team recently received extra funds from the VAF Gamefund (Flemish Audiovisual Fund).
