If you’re a regular reader of this blog, you probably don’t need convincing that the #BelgianGamesIndustry has seen continuous growth over the last five years. We are doing well, but truth is we don’t always exactly know how well.
That’s why we’d like to ask you some questions. How many people do you work with? What type of business do you run? Pretty standard stuff. To get a clear idea of how our local industry is performing, we’d also like to know some financial details. But no worries: data will be analysed in bulk and we’ll never ask you for any personal identification. So, as long as you’re not Larian Studios, there’s no way to tell who you are.
The goal of this survey is to present a complete and accurate state of the #BelgianGamesIndustry during gamescom in August. Taking part in the survey will cost you less time than watch that breathtaking new Zelda trailer (ha – fooled you!) for the umpteenth time. The more data we’re able to gather, the better our facts and figures will be, so we appreciate your valuable time.
Talking about statistical accuracy, please note that this survey is only intended for Flemish, Brussels or Walloon organisations and/or freelancers. This includes developers, publishers, platforms, event organisers, service providers (middleware, Q&A, localisation, audio…), educational institutions that offer game courses and research departments that study games.
Please refrain from taking part in the survey if you’re in retail, media, government or organisations offering non-development related services (e.g. advertising, PR, marketing, influencers, lawyers, jobs…).
We’re looking forward to use your input to compile an interesting report and can’t wait to share the details with you. Thanks again for your time.
